A French Countryside Market in the Heart of Hanoi

Some weddings are not merely events; they are fragments of life, woven with memories, scents, and emotions to become a world of their own. For Mẫn Tiên and Key, their wedding day did not follow the familiar path. They chose something simple yet profound: a “French Countryside Market” – a concept filled with warmth and authenticity, mirroring the way they love and live together.

From the French Countryside to a Hanoi Garden

Mẫn Tiên and Key have walked side by side through many seasons of life: from the brilliance of youth, to the chapter of parenthood with their son Noel. In her wedding vow, Tiên broke into tears as she recalled the difficult postpartum days, when she struggled with insecurities about her body, yet Key remained a steady, gentle source of encouragement.

That very moment when Key tenderly wiped away her tears in front of their dearest family and friends  became the soul of the wedding: love is not about grandeur, but about companionship, in every smallest detail.

Together, we envisioned a wedding landscape inspired by the rustic markets of rural France – where vibrant produce fills the stalls, flowers bloom in the breeze, and people find joy in life’s simplest treasures.

  • Fruit & vegetable stalls: Apples, grapes, carrots, aubergines, and peppers were displayed as if in a quaint village market – both as décor and as thoughtful “take-home” gifts for guests.

  • Garden & greenhouse setting: A crisp Hanoi autumn afternoon was transformed into a pastoral escape reminiscent of French countryside gardens, where guests could wander freely, even pausing to feed rabbits in the glasshouse.

  • Colors & composition: Dark-toned wooden chairs paired with abundant florals created visual depth, balancing rustic simplicity with refined elegance.

Here, the “market” became more than just a design theme – it was a metaphor for marriage itself: colorful, sometimes bustling, but always warm, alive, and full of nourishment.

Mẫn Tiên and Key’s wedding was never meant to be loud or ostentatious. It was a gathering of hearts closest to them. Familiar melodies rose from their circle of friends – Erik, Salim, Quỳnh Anh Shyn – turning the celebration into a heartfelt reunion.

And then there was Noel, their little son, whose innocent laughter on stage brought uncontainable joy. His presence was more than symbolic; it was proof that their family love had already blossomed long before the wedding day.

At Lutèce, every wedding is a portrait painted from real life. We do not build foreign worlds; instead, we delicately draw out the essence of our couples and transform it into a living experience.

  • With Mẫn Tiên and Key, we recognized that their love was not bound to extravagance, but to warmth, simplicity, and family.

  • Thus, the “French Countryside Market” was born – turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.

  • Every floral arrangement, every basket of fresh produce, every detail of the space was carefully composed to tell one story: love, like a thriving garden or a lively market, is renewed every day.

The wedding of Mẫn Tiên and Key is proof that a wedding does not need to be grand to be unforgettable. When it reflects the truest selves of the couple, the moment becomes timeless  for them, and for everyone who was present.

For Lutèce, that is also why we do what we do: to create personalized, refined experiences that touch the heart, just as a little French market once became a monumental memory in the love story of Tiên and Key.
